Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years as a real estate paralegal or conveyancer
  • Paralegal or Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate is an asset
  • Familiarity with trust accounting and billing
  • Experience managing own files
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Job Description:
  • Ability to handle all aspects of a real estate transaction from start to finish
  • Review of titles and contracts
  • Drafting of sale and sale conveyancing documents
  • Communication with clients and third parties
  • General clerical and office administration duties such as handling mail, arranging couriers, ordering supplies, filing, photocopying, and reception duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years as a legal assistant with legal drafting experience.
  • Paralegal or Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate is an asset
  • Experience with drafting estate planning and estate administration documents
  • Familiarity with trust accounting and billing
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Confident and self-motivated
  • Positive, collegial, and service orientated
  • Impeccable proofreading, excellent grammar, and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including MS office
Job Description:
  • Drafting Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Representation Agreements and other estate planning documents
  • Preparing probate forms
  • Communicating with clients including scheduling appointments, follow up emails and drafting reporting letters
  • Communicating with third parties such as other lawyers, accountants, insurance companies and court clerks
  • Electronic and physical file opening, maintenance, organization and Diarization
  • Billing
  • General clerical and office administration duties such as handling mail, arranging couriers, ordering supplies, filing, photocopying, and reception duties as needed.
